SOCIETY FOR AFRICAN  INTERNATIONALS AT PENN

University of Pennsylvania

ONE

BIG

FAMILY

“Finding a safe and comfortable community that helps you grow
in your academic, professional and social life is crucial for college
students. This is especially true for many of us, Africans, who are
new to college and the US lifestyle. SAIP was founded with the simple
intention of creating a tight community of Africans who like
spending time together and who can help each other grow in
many of these areas. Moreover, we hoped to foster a culture of
discussing various continental issues and ways we can contribute to the development of our respective countries. Looking
forward, we see SAIP as part of a big network of students and professional leaders working together to bring the change needed in
Africa.”
