SAIP Sophomore-Freshmen Opportunities Forum

Hi friends,
We're hosting our first opportunities panel this year. Please come hear upperclassmen speak about the various opportunities they've been involved in over the summer ranging from summer classes, work-study jobs, research, internships etc. Don't miss an opportunity to learn how to prepare for the longest college break.

This will be an opportunity for freshmen and sophomores to interact with each other as well as upperclassmen.

As always, we got you covered with refreshments.
We will be serving Dunkin Donuts with some soft drinks.

Thanksgiving Dinner

We're hosting a SAIP family dinner this coming Thanksgiving and you definitely want a taste of Kilimanjaro food. There'll be music and a chill, fun vybe. We hope to see you all there

Mental Health Discussion

SAIP is hosting a week-long mental health awareness initiative. We will be speaking about major themes surrounding mental health amongst African internationals in the US. This will be culminated by a sit down with some members from CAPS who will be candidly speaking about how to take care of your mental health while at Penn and the various ways and resources to help you do that.

Really looking forward to seeing you all in some par or all of this important topic!

SAIP Gala

SAIP presents our major event of the semester. This is a night full of refreshments and entertainment. Please come dressed in your best outfit because trust me, everyone else will!

This year, we are proud to announce that we will be collaborating with PASA, another African community on campus so this is a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.

This is the last day of the summit and it brings together African international students from Penn and beyond to celebrate the African international experience through dance, food, photo shoots, red carpet, and social engagement. There will be student performances from Penn, Princeton, Swarthmore, Drexel, and Haverford, poem recitations, a highlight of African students’ achievements across Penn.
